Pedalite Baglite is an eco friendly lighting system that illuminates people and their bags, making cyclists and horse riders more visible to motorists. The Baglite has a single red floodlight at the back and two white floodlights at the front, providing 360 degree visibility. It can be seen from a distance of 1km.
According to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, more than 75 per cent of accidents involving bicycles are at road junctions where cycles need to be seen from the side. Baglite improves safety at junctions by creating good side visibility for motorists.
No batteries are required for Pedalite Baglite which charges both in direct sunlight and in artificial light. Baglite therefore increases road safety in an environmentally friendly way.
